We are a family of four owned by our 12 beloved Miniature Dachshunds. My husband and I are both Paramedic/Firefighters, our son is 17 and our daughter is 15, so as you can imagine we are very busy at times. We are located in Northeast NC, just 5 minutes South of the VA line, off of HWY 168.

Here at Oakdale Dachshunds we have been breeding quality Miniature Dachshunds for the past 11 + years. We have long hair and smooth coats in a variety of colors; English Cream, Black/Cream, Chocolate/Cream, Reds, Black/Tan, Chocolate/Tan, Isabella/Tan and Blue/Tan in solids plus the Piebald and Dapple patterns. All of our adults are AKC registered and live with us in our house. All of our litters are carefully planned and the babies are raised underfoot in a clean environment. They are also well socialized and get all the love and attention they could ask for! All puppies will have dew claws removed, be wormed on schedule and their shots are kept up to date. They are AKC registered, come with a 1 year genetic health guarantee, and a puppy pack to get you started! We do not own a kennel, all of our dogs are our pets and live inside as part of the family!

Lexie is our very first dachshund ever owned. She is retired now of course. She's an "OLD & Kinda Fat" couch potato as you can see, holding on to her chew bone so no one else can get it while she naps a bit. She is very special to us and the start of Oakdale Dachshunds!
